After having been an Indiana wedding photographer and videographer team for about 6 years we have had our eyes on the best of the best wedding venues for you from Kokomo, Carmel, Indy, Bloomington, Huntington and everywhere in between!

And we absolutely LOVE getting to experience so many different venues with our couples! But after so many years of experience, keeping our eyes peeled, and scouring the web for you, we’ve compiled a list of our most updated 2025 TOP VENUE PICKS for couples looking for unique Indiana wedding venues to get hitched and celebrate the heck out of their day with their friends and family.

1. Garment Factory Events – Franklin, Indiana

The Garment Factory has so much space to hold all of your friends and family. Originally a garment factory established in 1927, the venue has a rich past, including producing uniforms for World War II and costumes for the film Hoosiers in the 1980s. This venue seats the most out of any venue on our list since it is a 20,000 square foot building. But it is not just one of our favorites because it holds so many people but because of how beautiful it is. It is literally an old factory turned into a luxurious wedding venue. It is complete with a full bar downstairs that operates as a restaurant through the week. The ceremony and reception space are both lit with so much natural light which make us very happy.

2. Willow Acres – Middletown, Indiana

Willow Acres is so unique because it is a backyard custom built from the ground up to host weddings. It gives you the wooded ceremony and reception vibe. At night is really when the venue comes to life being lit but hundreds of hanging lights, it gives the perfect vibe for a fun romantic night under the lights. But if it rains don’t worry they have a beautiful permanent white tent that will protect you from the rain and keep you shaded from the sun.

3. Sycamore at Mallow Run – Bargersville, Indiana

The Sycamore at Mallow Run is on another level of being custom built. It is an expansive building designed beautifully with wood beams and natural light. It is just a sight that you have to see. Couples can choose between the intimate Homestead Room for up to 75 guests or the larger Estate Room accommodating up to 250 guests. Outside the venue you are surrounded by a beautiful vineyard. There are so many options for amazing photos to be taken inside and out.

4. Boondocks Barn and Lodge – Knightstown, Indiana

Boondock’s Barn and Lodge, on Montgomery Creek Ranch, spans 160 acres of forest and wetlands. When you first arrive at Boondocks Barn and Lodge you will feel like you transported to somewhere out west. This property is giant with wooded areas and wide open wild flower fields. You will want to just sit down and enjoy the view.

The getting ready rooms are nice and big also which is great because most of the time venues forget to give you a nice space for you to get ready in. But one of the selling points of this venue is their 6,000 square foot custom-built Lodge, available for weekend rentals and sleeping up to 20 guests. The lodge makes this venue a place to not just get married but to stay for the whole week. The lodge has a heated pool, hot tub, pool table, multiple bed rooms and restrooms, giant porch, and is surrounded by woods. It is the ultimate place to retreat to. After you tour this venue you won’t want to leave.

5. Laural Mill Wedding and Event Venue – Heltonville, Indiana

Lauall Mill is a beautiful luxury barn tucked into the country side of Heltonville. At Laural Mill Wedding Barn, history and modern charm come together beautifully. Built in 2016 and named after the owners’ children, Lauren and Alex. What sets Laurel Mill apart is its exceptional on-site team, which makes a seamless experience from setup to cleanup. They offer a range of in-house decor and inventory, so couples don’t need to worry about extra purchases. The venue features a spacious indoor reception area with a cool silo bar, an outdoor cocktail patio, and a newly converted loft for bridal party relaxation.

6. The Wilds Venue – Bloomington, Indiana

The Wilds is the most remote and peaceful venue on this list. As you drive some country roads around Brown County you pull off onto a long drive way to get back to the venue.

The Wilds, nestled on 125 acres of scenic land, was purpose-built as a wedding and event venue, offering a blend of modern farmhouse charm and customizable elegance. The venue features an outdoor ceremony space with a covered pavilion, a patio with an outdoor bar and fireplace, and a great room that accommodates up to 200 guests. Couples can personalize their wedding with the venue’s in-house inventory and decor.

The Wilds’ team supports couples with planning resources, including a recommended vendor list, monthly open houses, and private appointments with the venue, catering, and bar teams. Their online wedding planner, provided 12 months out, includes customizable floor plans, timelines, ceremony details, and optional planning tools like a budget tracker and RSVP tracker.

A hidden gem at The Wilds is the picturesque pond and the gravel road that blends naturally with the surrounding foliage, offering stunning photo opportunities.

7. The Loft on Isanogel – Muncie, Indiana

Originally a summer camp for kids with special needs from the 1950s to 2010, has been transformed into a charming wedding location while preserving its historical essence. The Loft Barn, the reception space, was once the camp’s art barn and now features modern amenities, including heating, cooling, and newly added restrooms.

The Loft on Isanogel has some of the best getting ready rooms out of the venues on this list. They are amazingly lit with natural light and it is as if you have your own little living space. The property has a couple of outside ceremony spaces and indoor reception options. The barn is heated and cooled allowing you to get married here year round. There is also a cute wooded area with a sidewalk through it that is the perfect wooded photo location!

8. New Journey Farms – Lafayette, Indiana

New Journey Farms is located just outside of Lafayette and is a giant building that allows you to have your ceremony and reception in the same room. The getting ready rooms are equally giant for both bridal parties also which is a huge win. There is plenty of room in the getting ready rooms to hang out in before the wedding. There is also an outside ceremony space that is just a short walk from the main building.

9. The Clubhouse Venue – Huntington, Indiana

Your going to LOVE The Clubhouse. This is a historic golf course turned into an insanely gorgeous wedding venue. For starters the main seller for us is the giant outdoor pavilion that will absolutely blow you away when you see it. This is the most magical wedding ceremony and reception space. The property is manicured so well with a big concrete fire pit, a giant pond, and even a little putting green to get some golf in on before you get hitched.

The guys getting ready room is giant and has a pool table and large tv along with a long cozy couch. It is a great hang out space. The ladies getting ready room is the most stunning getting ready room on this list of venues. It is soooo elegant and luxurious, complete with mirrors all around you, natural light, and plenty of seating. Both bridal parties are going to love their getting ready spaces. Inside of the venue there is plenty of space for your reception or cocktail hour if bad weather does come your way. Do yourself a favor and please check out this venue, you will not regret it.

10. Lizton Lodge – Lizton, Indiana

The Lizton Lodge is unlike any wedding venue you have ever been too. It was once a private mansion that was added onto numerous times, creating the most beautiful and unique rooms. Now it is an amazing wedding venue. There are multiple indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces. The building is so fun and creative. There are millions of different photos to be taken at this venue with loads of fun options. The staff here are absolutely on top of it and are there to serve your every need.

11. The Venue at Brookstone – Kokomo, Indiana

The Venue at Brookstone is a venue local to us and we love it when we get to work there. The Venue has a large indoor main space for your ceremony and reception. Before launching their venue they totally re-did the inside of the space and it feels and looks so luxurious from the walls to the chandeliers. The getting ready spaces are roomy and just as beautiful. Then outside they have a couple of options for your ceremony also. The yard outside has some trees that provide great shade for all of your photos! Lastly the staff at The Venue is amazing and we love them and they will make sure that your day is running smoothly!

12. The Lodge at River Valley Farm – Yorktown, Indiana

The Lodge at River Valley Farm is a country side delight. It was once a working farm for the Bracken family (descendants of the Ball Jar family) in the 1850s, offers a blend of historical charm and modern amenities. Couples can plan their weddings with two one-hour sessions, customize floor plans, and receive continuous support from the team.

There is an old country side farm house that you can stay in and get ready in. It sits on a hill over looking some fields. You will want to sit on the front porch rocking chair and stay for a week. There is a big concrete covered area for your cocktail hour and then inside is a big room for your ceremony and reception. But there is also an outside ceremony space.

13. Mustard Seed Gardens – Noblesville, Indiana

Mustard Seed Garden’s is a luxurious country styled wedding venue but it is in town so you don’t have to travel too far out of your way to get to it. The farm house is styled so wonderfully and is the perfect getting ready space, complete with a full kitchen, because who doesn’t like some snacks to eat on their wedding day haha! There is a wonderful ceremony space inside of the barn and another option for your ceremony outside. Check out this wonderful venue!

14. The Sixpence – Whitestown, Indiana

This stunning venue, which opened its doors in July 2021, was built from the ground up specifically to host weddings and events, making it one of the few purpose-built venues in Indiana. The Sixpence boasts modern amenities such as heated concrete floors and air conditioning, ensuring comfort all year round. Its versatility shines through with multiple outdoor ceremony spaces, a charming Bridal Suite, and the Homestead—a converted farmhouse for overnight accommodations.

But my personal favorite? The Workshop, an incredible man cave equipped with pool tables, 90-inch TVs, and a stainless steel bar, ensuring the groomsmen have just as fantastic an experience as the bridesmaids. Whether it’s a traditional wedding or a unique event like ax throwing or ice sculptures, The Sixpence offers endless possibilities to make your special day unforgettable.

15. Barn at Bay Horse Inn – Greenwood, Indiana

The Barn at Bay Horse Inn, a hidden gem in the heart of the city. This venue, started nine years ago, originally began with a quaint log cabin and has now expanded into a versatile event space nestled on 7.5 acres. It’s like stepping into a secluded woodland retreat, yet it’s conveniently located in the city. The Barn at Bay Horse Inn offers a stunning saloon area with garage doors that open up to picturesque patios and wooded paths, creating a unique indoor-outdoor experience.

With the capacity to seat up to 425 guests, it’s perfect for large celebrations. My personal favorite spot is the saloon, boasting six TVs and a large bar area, but the entire property is a delight—from the bridal and groom suites to the cozy cabin that sleeps up to eight people. The Barn at Bay Horse Inn provides custom event layouts, ensuring each wedding is uniquely tailored to the couple’s vision, from the outdoor ceremony space to the main event hall.

The venue’s unique charm lies in its ability to provide a seamless one-stop-shop experience, offering everything from wedding ceremonies and receptions to guest accommodations. The hotel features an outdoor terrace overlooking beautiful Carmel, perfect for photos, first looks, and bridal party gatherings. Inside, the venue’s spaces, including the grand ballroom and Adagio bar, provide an exquisite backdrop for any wedding. Also each day at 4 PM, the hotel offers a complimentary champagne toast which I thought was pretty cool. With a dedicated team of wedding planners, Hotel Carmichael ensures that every couple’s vision is brought to life, working closely with vendors to create a flawless and memorable wedding day.
